7:30 PM 8:30 PM.

Hosted by Sarah Hourigan

Join us online for an Imbolc gathering to honour this Celtic festival of light, new beginnings, and the promise of spring. This gentle, nature-based circle invites you to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the rhythms of the land, the turning of the season, and your own inner landscape.

This immersive experience weaves together reflection, storytelling, meditation, and shared presence, creating a nurturing space to mark Imbolc from the comfort of your own home.

What to Expect:

Opening Circle:
We’ll begin by gathering together online, grounding ourselves and setting intentions for the session. This opening circle creates a calm, supportive container where each person is welcomed and held.

Journaling & Reflection:
You’ll be guided through reflective journaling prompts inspired by Imbolc themes of renewal, light returning, and quiet growth. This time is an invitation to listen inwardly and honour where you are in the seasonal cycle.

Celtic Wheel:
We’ll explore the Celtic Wheel of the Year and the place of Imbolc within it. Through this, we’ll reflect on how seasonal awareness can support us in living more attuned to nature’s rhythms, even in modern life.

Honouring Brigid:
Brigid, deeply connected with Imbolc, is associated with healing, creativity, and the hearth fire. We’ll share her story and symbolism, and reflect on how her qualities can be invited into our lives at this time of year.

Guided Nature-Based Meditation:
You’ll be led through a gentle, guided meditation rooted in nature imagery and seasonal awareness. This meditation invites you to release what no longer serves you and to connect with the quiet stirring of new beginnings.

Creative & Nature-Based Invitations (Take-Away Practice):
As the circle comes towards a close, you’ll be offered a selection of gentle, creative and nature-based invitations to take away with you. These are simple practices you can return to in your own time, supporting you to continue honouring Imbolc through connection with nature, reflection, and mindful presence in the days and weeks that follow.

Closing Circle:
We’ll come back together to gently close the space, honouring the intentions set and the time shared. This closing circle offers an opportunity for reflection, integration, and carrying the light of Imbolc forward.

Online circle feedback:

Each week I am so humbled and grateful to be part of this group … it makes me feel so refreshed and grounded. What you say to us is so inspiring. I love learning about the incredible rich legacy of the ancestors in Ireland. That was an absolutely wonderful meditation this week, it has inspired me to add newgrange to my bucket list. I enjoy every single one of these sessions and cant wait to restart in the new year.

I would never miss a week of this class if at all possible, I find it so invigorating, I find it so brilliant to pause and reflect on the beauty that surrounds us every single day. I so enjoy these sessions, the vibrancy you bring to your reflections is so wonderful and something I always take with me after the sessions are over.

This work is so inspirational, I feel so connected to it and it is such a lovely way to look at the year by dividing it into the six week chunks between the Celtic fire festivals. That was such a lovely meditation, I felt so connected to my ancestors throughout that session today, really loved that imagery it has given me so much food for thought.
